MES Indian School celebrated the World Hindi Day (Vishwa Hindi Diwas) with great enthusiasm and traditional gaiety in its Boys’, Girls’ and Junior Sections recently. Special assemblies were conducted in all the sections to accentuate the significance of Hindi in India. Students delivered fervent speeches on the importance of Hindi as the national language of India. Patriotic songs and cultural performances marked the day. Teachers of the Department of Hindi glorified the importance of Hindi in their speeches and emphasised its significant role in strengthening the cultural ties among the people of India. Articles and quotes highlighting the importance of the language were also displayed on the school’s bulletin boards.
