Impressive display of firepower by Pakistan Navy

Live weapon firing was conducted by the Pakistan Navy’s newly-commissioned Fast Attack Craft (Missile), PNS Himmat, in the North Arabian Sea, according to a press release issued by the Director General Public Relations (Navy) in Islamabad.
PNS Himmat fired the indigenously-developed Harbah naval cruise missile, a surface-to-surface anti-ship missile with land attack capability.
The missile accurately hit its target in a display of the capabilities of Harbah naval weapon system.
Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi witnessed the firing onboard Pakistan Navy ship Alamgir.
The navy chief expressed satisfaction on the operational readiness of the Pakistan Navy fleet units and commended the efforts of all those involved in achieving this milestone.
He emphasised the need to capitalise on indigenous defence capabilities and reduce reliance on foreign countries. 
He also reaffirmed the Pakistan Navy’s resolve to ensure the country’s seaward defence and safeguard national maritime interests at all costs.
He also appreciated the efforts made by Pakistani engineers and researchers in making Harbah naval weapon system project a success.
