Ooredoo has announced that it witnessed “a good turnout” for the second ‘Digital and Beyond’ technology innovation master class, which carried the theme ‘Identifying and Attracting Partners’.
As part of the joint venture ‘Digital and Beyond’, led by Ooredoo and the Qatar Business Incubation Centre (QBIC), the organisations are hosting a series of master classes to support Qatar’s innovation ecosystem and community and to foster entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship.
Following from the initial master class on ‘Getting Started as a Tech Start-Up CEO’, the second master class focused on how to evaluate and choose the right development team. Speakers also explored the different types of development partners, how to choose the right partners, how to budget, and how to balance quality over cost.
Ooredoo COO Yousuf Abdulla al-Kubaisi said: “Qatar’s entrepreneurs and start-ups have the game-changing ideas to transform businesses and society but cannot become successful on their own.
“Ooredoo’s support for finding the right partnerships is vital to unlocking the wealth of knowledge among Qatar’s innovation ecosystem, and to empower our staff in enhancing their collaboration and problem-solving skills.” QBIC CEO Aysha al-Mudahka said: “Qatar is a global hub for innovation with the right mix of entrepreneurs, investors, educational foundations, and government enablers. These master classes are bringing together the entire innovation ecosystem to foster partnerships that support Qatar National Vision 2030 goals of diversified economic growth, job creation, and knowledge exchange to transform daily lives and businesses.”
