Mumbai XII defeated CDC by 80 runs in the inaugural match of the 29th CDC Cricket Tournament 2018 at the West Bay Cricket Complex.
Batting first, Mumbai XII scored 237 runs in 20 overs after losing six wickets. Shariq scored 50 runs off 16 deliveries with the help of seven sixes and a boundary. Shabab also contributed 35 runs. Monty, Mudassir and Adam scored 22 runs each. Jagdish clinched three wickets, while Nishanta, Narda, Mahesh and Partha took one wicket each.
In reply, CDC batsmen were all out for 157 runs in 17.1 overs. Nishanta was the top scorer for CDC with 31 runs. Kasun also chipped in with 31 runs. Mohan and Mohamed claimed four and three wickets, respectively. Shabab of Mumbai XII was adjudged man of the match for his all-round show.  

Alliance beat Wellon by one wicket
Wellon 153 runs all out in 19.4 overs (Sanjaya 33, Lahiru 31, Sameer and Rameez took three wickets each)
Alliance 154 runs for 10 wickets in 19.4 overs (Nassir 28 runs, Tharindu four wickets, Dushan two wickets).

M. Pallonji beat McDonalds by eight wickets
McDonalds 159 runs all out in 16.5 overs (Iftikar 34 runs, Bari 32, Alban four wickets, Sanath two wickets)
M. Pallonji 163 runs for 3 wickets in 14.4 overs (Sandesh 29 runs, Raazik 22 runs).
