His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani yesterday held phone conversation with Indonesian President Joko Widodo. During the telephone conversation, the two leaders reviewed ways to develop and boost bilateral relations. In addition, they discussed the serious repercussions of US President Donald Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and moving the US embassy there from Tel Aviv, as well as the repercussions of this decision on the security and stability of the Middle East.

for entry visa queries
The Public Relations Department at the Ministry of Interior said yesterday that it has recently launched two new links on its website (www.moi.gov.qa) for queries on entry visas for Qatar. The links are https://portal.moi.gov.qa/qatarvisas/ in English and https://portal.moi.gov.qa/qatarvisasar/ in Arabic. The page that opens by clicking on/typing the link contains fields such as ‘nationality’ and ‘residence country’ of the applicant.
