The all-new Imalco IMX, a state-of-the-art express service centre, recently opened its doors at Street 33, Industrial Area. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by the Hankook regional manager S W Kang, first secretary at the Korean embassy J S Choi, director-general of Kotra J H Shin and chairman of Imalco Khalifa al-Khulaifi in the presence of Imalco executives. IMX is divided into two entities: TBX - which caters to trucks and buses, and CVX - which caters to light trucks and commercial vehicles. The idea behind this venture is to provide express service in terms of tyres, batteries, lubricants, brakes, airconditioning and diagnostics, Imalco has said in a statement. According to Imalco’s CEO, Aboo Backer Bavu, the event marked a “historic milestone in their business journey”. IMX features “cutting-edge technological advancements supported by a skilled workforce”, the statement adds.
