Silence to Stillness can answer many questions in the mind of a reader and will give them a kind of clarity that will help them enter a deeper state in meditation and enhance their meditation journey.
These were the words used by 34-year-old Vishnu Prasad, author of the book and a yoga teacher, on the occasion of the book launch at Four Seasons Doha.
A good number of people were present at the launch event, many of them students of the author. People at large said they were very interested in reading the book and getting guidance about how to do yoga successfully.
The book, which is not very thick, has been subtitled as A Practical Guide To Enhance And Deepen Your Meditation and promises to help people learn how to meditate and learn different kinds of it.
The chief guest on the occasion was Hassan al-Thawadi, Secretary General of the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy.
Speaking on the occasion, al-Thawadi said that he was very happy to be present on the occasion of the book launch. Praising yoga and meditation practices, he said that meditation can help a person in improving their physical, mental, and emotional health.
The chief guest also appreciated the writer and the yoga teacher for the kind of work he has been doing to improve the health of people. He underlined that the book will help people looking for peace of mind and a healthy lifestyle. He also shared his experience of attending Vishnu Prasad’s classes.
Tina Chadda edited the book, while Fadi El Hassan did the cover design and took the photo.
Speaking on the occasion, Chadda said that the book would be very helpful for those seeking to meditate. She said that Vishnu asked her to edit his book because he thought that she knew the subject very well, as she was his student. She said, “We, the writer and the editor, have made the book very simple. We have made the complicated subject easier to grasp, because we want everyone to understand the book and benefit from it.”
Talking to Community, Prasad said, “I strongly believe this book can give the answers to many of your questions and will give you clarity that will help you enter a deeper state in meditation and to enhance your meditative journey. This book will answer the following questions: Do you want to meditate, but don’t quite know how? Are you confused about different types of meditation? Do you struggle to find inner silence because of the nonstop chitchat of the mind? Do you want to know how to prepare for meditation? Do you want systematic techniques to enhance and deepen your practice or to begin a meditative journey?
“This special book will lead you toward opening your heart and finding true peace in meditation. No matter where you are starting from, you can build on and enrich your meditative practice.
