Nepal’s ambassador Prof Ramesh Prasad Koirala met with Qatar’s Minister of Education and Higher Education HE Dr Mohamed Abdul Wahed Ali al-Hammadi on Wednesday.
The envoy discussed various topics, including the establishment of a Nepalese school, cultural centre, education training centre, and scholarship for Nepalese students among others.
The ambassador pointed out that Nepalese families in Qatar have been facing difficulties in schooling their children.
“To avoid the problem many families leave their children in Nepal. So, establishing a Nepalese school in Qatar will help the Nepalese families in the country to educate their children in the same curriculum provided back home,” the envoy explained during the meeting.
