Qatar residents will now have the opportunity to experience luxury dining and test drive a Ferrari in Doha, a "first-of-its-kind" initiative in the country, it has been announced.

Dubbed as 'The Ultimate Ferrari Drive & Dine Experience', the new offer provides guests with a specially designed set menu (lunch or dinner) at Al Sultan Brahim Lebanese and seafood restaurant at The St Regis Doha, and a complimentary test-drive of a Ferrari 488 or GTC4Lusso on Tuesday and Wednesday.
“What we have launched is in partnership with Alfardan Sports Motors, the official dealer of Ferrari in Qatar, and we worked together to bring the luxury car and luxury dining together, that is the concept,” The St Regis Doha’s marketing director Rebecca Platt told Gulf Times.
She said a warm welcome awaits guests to what she said is a unique and exciting experience, particularly the chance to drive popular luxury models under the guidance of two Ferrari instructors flown from Italy.

Ferrari instructors have been flown from Italy for the ‘Ultimate Ferrari Drive and Dine Experience.’

According to Platt, these dedicated Ferrari instructors, renowned for their driving skills, represent the world-famous team of Italian driving trainers from Maranello.
“The Italian drivers will demonstrate to participants how such a luxury car works, the best way to drive it, and show what it can ultimately do through skilful driving techniques,” she said.
The St Regis plans to bring these drivers back for the same experience on November 8 and 9, and December 5 and 6.
After the test drive, Platt said guests can complete the experience with a five-course set menu, exclusively created by Al Sultan Brahim’s chef, with dishes such as traditional Lebanese mezze and specialty seafood.
She noted that the original Al Sultan Brahim restaurant was founded in 1968 in Jnah, on the coastline of Beirut, by three El-Ramy brothers.
Visitors to Al Sultan Brahim at The St Regis Doha can savour “legendary Lebanese cuisine” prepared by chef Wael Jaafar, who trained with the master team at Jnah.
The offer is pegged at QR600 per person and bookings can be made for lunch from 12noon to 4pm or for dinner from 6.30pm to 10pm.
About plans to make the offer regular at The St Regis, she said: “We may do or make something else. These Italian drivers are in such demand and we are lucky we’ve got them now.”
About the two Ferrari models, the 488’s sculptural forms are completely new, accentuating the car’s sportiness yet retaining the classically clean, pure lines typical of Ferrari’s legendary styling.
The GTC4Lusso’s name references illustrious predecessors such as the 330 GTC or its 2+2 sister model, the 330 GT and the 250 GT Berlinetta Lusso, which represented a sublime combination of elegance and high performance.
