A traffic safety awareness training session was conducted at the DicoTech office in Doha recently, in collaboration with the Traffic Department, Ministry of Interior (MoI).

DicoTech managing director Zuhair Naqvi welcomed everyone present on the occasion and reinforced the importance of safety at work.
The chief guest, Lieutenant Abdul Wahid Gareeb al-Anazi, inaugurated the training programme and gave tips to the participants on how to save on traffic fines and how to get help from the MoI in case of an accident.
Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamad al-Thani from the Traffic Department appreciated the DicoTech management’s commitment to the safety of its employees. Faisal al-Hudawi, Community Reach-out Office co-ordinator at the Public Relations Department, MoI, conducted the training session.
The purpose of the training programme was to enhance employees' driving skills and traffic safety awareness, according to a press statement. It was also a good opportunity for all to meet and interact with Traffic Department officials and have their queries clarified in relation to traffic rules and regulations in Qatar.
The event concluded with prizes being given to the participants during a quiz session on traffic safety and a gala dinner.
