Qatar Central Securities Depository (QCSD) has announced that it had amended the foreign ownership percentage in the shares of Vodafone Qatar to become 49% of the company’s capital, as of today. Vodafone Qatar is a Qatari shareholding company listed on the Qatar Exchange. Meanwhile, Vodafone Qatar yesterday said all its network services have been restored. “All our network services, including 4G+, are now restored. We will be announcing our new customer appreciation programme soon,” the company tweeted. “We thank you for bearing with us during this time and we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience.” Vodafone Qatar experienced a major network outage with its Home Location Register, a key hardware component of their core network, on July 17.
