United Development Company (UDC), a leading Qatari shareholding company, has unveiled the ‘Tamim Al Majd’ mural at The Pearl-Qatar.

The artwork will feature signatures of the Island’s residents and visitors in a message of support for the State of Qatar and His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani.
The mural, which reads ‘Tamim the Glorious’ in Arabic, was inaugurated by UDC chairman Turki bin Mohamed al-Khater and the company’s president & CEO Ibrahim Jassim al-Othman.  An “unprecedented number” of residents and visitors flocked to sign the mural on the inauguration day and pledge loyalty to His Highness the Emir, UDC said in a statement.
The inauguration ceremony coincided with the decoration of the main driveways of The Pearl-Qatar and The Pearl Tower 1, which lies at the entrance of the Island, with the same slogan - ‘Tamim Al Majd’ - in a strong sign of solidarity.
“The remarkable initiative underlines UDC’s national commitment to spearheading Qatar’s development under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, all while achieving the best returns for the company’s shareholders and supporting the country’s economic diversification strategy in line with Qatar National Vision 2030 through a diversified portfolio of leading investment projects,” the
statement noted.
