The Bedaya Centre for Entrepreneurship and Career Development (Bedaya Centre), a joint initiative of Qatar Development Bank (QDB) and Silatech, is participating through a several startup projects at Meerat Ramadan, being held at Katara-the Cultural Village. 
The projects showcase top quality goods and products such as clothing, perfumes, incense, and foodstuffs at competitive prices.
This year’s version of Meerat Ramadan, which resembles a bazaar, welcomed a good number of entrepreneurial projects such as Al Jaraa, Miswak Royal, Moon Collection, Beauty Line, Signature by Fatima, Marwad Qatar, Life utensils, Aseela, Anteeka Gift, Alzenh, Distinctive Touch, Qatar Dress Boutique, Anfal Collection, Aikoza, Al Masala, Oryx Doha, Al Qomash Al Motarz, Baby Mania, Happy Gift, Raslan Qatar, Al Bandar, Oud, and Rihann.
Meerat Ramadan offers an important opportunity to support the small and medium local projects by providing a proper platform to showcase their goods and products in one of the city’s most vibrant places during the holy month of Ramadan. This event is a new addition to Bedaya’s initiatives that aim to support 
entrepreneurs.
On this occasion, Reem al-Suwaidi, general manager, Bedaya Centre, said: “We would like to thank Dr Khalid bin Ibrahim al-Sulaiti, general manager, Katara - the Cultural Village, for providing this opportunity to entrepreneurial projects, which at the same time, support the centre’s goals and objectives that support young people in strengthening their projects to allow a new generation of entrepreneurs to become strong foundations for building a bright future for the state of Qatar.”
She added: “Meerat Ramadan is a great opportunity for entrepreneurs to showcase their products at competitive prices during the holy month, especially as Katara provides attractive events during Ramadan. This brings together members of the local society and other communities in one place. 
“Moreover, a special area for kids has been allocated and includes a variety of games, entertainment, and education activities that bring enjoyment and benefit to the public. This is besides the other means of attraction that provide a unique marketing and entertainment experience suitable for all exhibitors and visitors at the same time.”
