HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani took part along with the leaders of the Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC) member-states, heads of delegations and the US President Donald Trump in the GCC-US Summit, held at the International King Abdulaziz Conference Centre in Riyadh.

The summit was attended by the members of the official delegation accompanying the Emir.

It was also attended by the members of the accompanying official delegations.

Later HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani witnessed along with the leaders and heads of the GCC delegations and US President Donald Trump the exchange of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the GCC countries and the United States to establish a centre to target the financing of terrorism.

The GCC countries were represented by the Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Prince Mohamed bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz al-Saud, while the US side was represented by US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson at the exchange of the MoU at King Abdulaziz International Conference Centre on Sunday.

Later in the evening, HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani participated along with the leaders and head of delegations of GCC, Arab, and Islamic countries in the Arab-Islamic-American Summit.

The summit was chaired by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz al Saud of Saudi Arabia, in the presence of the US President Donald Trump.

It took place at the International King Abdulaziz Conference Center in Riyadh under the theme of "Together We Prevail."

The summit was attended by the members of the official delegation accompanying the Emir and the princes and their excellencies head of accompanying official delegations.

The Emir also participated along with the leaders of the Gulf Co-operation Council countries and heads of delegations in the 17th Consultative Meeting held at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Centre in Riyadh on Sunday morning.

The meeting was attended by the members of the official delegation accompanying HH the Emir and the princes and members of the accompanying official delegations.

The Emir left Riyadh on Sunday night after participating in the 17th Consultative Meeting, GCC-US Summit, and the Arab-Islamic-American Summit in Saudi Arabia.

The Emir sent cables to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Prince Mohamed bin Nayef bin Abdul Aziz al-Saud, Deputy Crown Prince, Second Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Prince Mohamed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz to express appreciation and thanks for the good reception he and the accompanying delegation received during the visit.

HH the Emir also praised the efforts and big role of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in ensuring the success of the 17th Consultative Meeting, GCC-US Summit, and the Arab-Islamic-American Summit and their positive outcomes. HH the Emir also wished the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Crown Prince, and the Deputy Crown Prince well and the Saudi people further progress and prosperity.
