A new foot care centre, using advanced French technologies in its applications, has opened at Al Ahli Hospital.
Officials said the facility offers one of the best technologies available in the region to treat different types of foot diseases.
It has been set up in association with Iris Trading, which brings to the country equipment of Capron, a French firm manufacturing a number of hi-tech devices for the global medical sector.
The digital podometer set up at the hospital would give the static and dynamic analysis of various foot diseases, said Nidaa Hamza, a spokesperson of Iris.
French ambassador to Qatar Eric Chevalier was among those guests who visited the hospital to watch the functioning of the new equipment at its foot care centre.
