The Ministry of Economy and Commerce (MEC), in collaboration with Alfardan Sports Motors, has announced the recall of Maserati Ghibli and Quattroporte 2014- 2016 models over potential fuel leaks from the fuel delivery pipe.
The MEC said the recall campaign comes within the framework of its ongoing efforts to protect consumers and ensure that car dealers follow up on vehicle defects and repairs.
The MEC will co-ordinate with the dealer to follow up on the maintenance and repair works and communicate with customers to ensure that the necessary repairs are carried out.

Emir sends message to Singapore leader

HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani has sent a written message to Singapore’s President Tony Tan Keng Yam, pertaining to bilateral relations and means of supporting them.
The message was conveyed by the ambassador of Qatar to Singapore Abdullah bin Ibrahim al-Hamar when President Tony Tan Keng Yam met him at the Presidential Palace.

Message from Ethiopian FM
HE the Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani has received a written message from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia Dr Workneh Gebeyehu, pertaining to bilateral relations and ways of enhancing them. The message was received by HE the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad al-Muraikhi during his meeting yesterday with the ambassador of  Ethiopia to Qatar Mesganu Arga Moach.

Minister meets German envoy
HE the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad al-Muraikhi met the ambassador of  Germany to Qatar Hans-Udo Muzel in Doha yesterday.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations and means of developing them as well as matters of mutual concern.

Transport Minister receives message

HE the Minister of Transport and Communications Jassim Seif Ahmed al-Sulaiti yesterday received a message from Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Dr Zorana Mihajlovic. The message was handed by the Serbian ambassador to Qatar Jasminko Pozderac during a meeting with the Minister of Transport and Communications.

Qatar-Morocco ties discussed

Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation of Morocco Nasser Bourita has met  the ambassador of Qatar Abdullah bin Falah bin Abdullah al-Dosari.
During the meeting, which took place in Rabat, they discussed bilateral relations between Qatar and Morocco and means of supporting and developing them, as well as matters of mutual concern.
