Strong winds and high seas towards the north are expected in offshore areas on Wednesday, the Qatar Met department has said.
The weather report also shows that Doha will be among the hottest places in the country at 41C.
Northwesterly winds will blow at 5-15/18 knots in some offshore areas before reaching a high of 22 knots by Wednesday afternoon. Slightly dusty conditions and some clouds are also likely in these areas, with the sea level rising to 7ft towards the north.
Meanwhile, the wind (northwesterly) speed may go up to 22 knots by the afternoon in inshore areas, too, the Met department said. Hot daytime conditions are expected along with slight dust in some places and clouds.
The maximum temperature will be 41C in Doha, 39C in Al Khor and 38C in Wakrah and Mesaieed. On Tuesday, the maximum was 41C in Turayna and 40C in Doha, Al Rayyan, Sheehaniya, Batna and Karana.
