Qatari rider Saeed al-Sulaiti won the first race of the third round of Qatar Superstock600 that took place at Losail International Circuit during the Grand Prix of Qatar presented in association with the Qatar Tourism Authority. Al-Sulaiti, who took the Superpole, didn’t have a good start but he managed to lead the race from the second lap
“I am very happy about the race, actually really happy with the whole weekend with Superstock and my rhythm was really good. I was a bit scared because I was jumping from Moto2 to Supertock and it is a totally different position and style but I happy to adapt it in very short time,” al-Sulaiti said.
Mashel al-Naimi finished in second place and blamed bike problems.
‘My bike was very difficult today. I tried to make my lap time but I was very slow,” he said.
The third place was taken by Nasser al-Malki. Trophies were presented by QMMF President, Abdulrahman al-Mannai and the LCSC General Manager and Vice-President Khalid al-Remaihi.
