Gulf Times-Al Raya subscribers won cars at the culmination of the three-month subscription campaign for the leading newspapers in English and Arabic, respectively.
The widely-attended draw was held at the Gulf Times-Al Raya main office on C Ring Road under the supervision of the Ministry of Economy & Commerce representative, presided over by Yousef al-Darwish, the Deputy General Manager of Gulf Publishing & Printing Co.
The representative from Alfardan Automobiles, who sponsored the offered cars, was also present. James John, Director-Marketing and Adel Hammam, Circulation Manager, who were the real force behind the promotion, co-ordinated the event.
The impressive subscription offer saw overwhelming participation from across all communities and nationalities, indicating the dailies’ unmatched credibility and popularity, bringing the world headlines to the people of the country for close to four decades now.
On offer were two of the popular cars available, BMW 318i and Mini Cooper, both in their latest 2017 versions. The offer also gave options to subscribers to opt for a free extra copy of either Gulf Times or Al Raya or to get free subscription for the next year.
The lucky subscriber who won the BMW 318i was Beena George (Coupon 0001214) while Anil K Eldhose (Coupon 0001436) won the Mini Cooper. Both winners would shortly be felicitated at Alfardan Automobiles office when the keys will be handed over to them.
