A diversion will be in place on a stretch of the westbound lanes on Al Luqta Street near the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC) from tomorrow until the end of the month.
During the diversion, road users travelling from Doha to Dukhan on Al Luqta Street will be shifted from the existing carriageway onto an almost parallel route for nearly 540m before rejoining the existing road, (as shown on the map).
The minor diversion is the second stage of a three-phase diversion that will be implemented on the Dukhan Highway East project.
The diversions are required to enable the construction of a pedestrian tunnel, future roads and the implementation of new utilities systems. Ashghal will provide a further update to road users regarding the final phase of the road changes in the area.
