The pavilion of the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) at Darb Al Saai has received large numbers of students from both local and private schools.
The children received explanations and guidance from a number of MME officers from various departments. The students were given the opportunity to take part in workshops, competitions, quiz, drawing and colouring activities.
There is also a competition to introduce the types of birds in Qatar to the participating students, a play on recycling and exploration journey on the environmental monitoring systems, alongside a special activity to teach children how to become architects.
The MME Health Control Section has set up a miniature supermarket where samples of various food products are displayed, with the officers explaining to the visitors how to select good products and avoid bad ones.
