The country is expected to see stable weather conditions until the weekend after experiencing a rainy spell over the past few days, the Qatar Met department has said.
Offshore warnings, however, will remain in place until this noon.
In a statement yesterday, the Met department said charts indicated the return of stable weather in the country, with generally mild conditions expected during the day along with a relatively cold night.
The weather office also gave details of the amount of rainfall recorded in different parts of Qatar between last Friday and yesterday.
Al Ruwais in the north registered the highest amount of rainfall – at 50.4mm — during this period, followed by the Doha airport area at 45.9mm, Abu Hamour at 40.2mm, Hamad International Airport area at 36.5mm, Shehaimiya at 36.2mm, Wakrah at 30.1mm, Mesaieed at 29.6mm, Al Sheehaniya at 27.3mm and the Qatar University area at 21.4mm. On the other hand, Al Khor received the lowest rainfall at 1.8mm.
Today’s forecast says strong winds and high seas are likely in offshore areas. The wind speed may go up to 22 knots before decreasing by night, while the sea level will rise to 7ft.
Hazy conditions and some clouds are also expected.
In inshore areas, hazy to misty conditions are likely in some places in the early hours of the day, followed by moderate temperatures.

A minimum temperature of 19C is expected today, in Al Khor and Abu Samra, while in Doha it will be 21C.
Yesterday, a minimum temperature of 18C was recorded in Turayna, followed by 19C in Batna and Karana.
In the capital, the minimum was 20C in the Qatar University area.
Meanwhile, efforts to remove rainwater from places across the country continued yesterday.
Rain emergency teams in Doha Municipality drained out 1,503,200 gallons of accumulated rainwater yesterday, taking the total to 6,515,510 gallons, the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) said in a press statement.
Similarly, rain emergency teams drained out a total of 14,93,000 gallons in Al Rayyan Municipality, 12,309,500 gallons in Wakrah Municipality, 1,013,012 gallons in Al Khor and Al Thakhira Municipality, 2,152,700 gallons in Al Shamal Municipality, 8,404,871 gallons in Umm Salal Municipality and 6,515,510 gallons in Al Daayen Municipality.
The MME also informed, through a post in its Twitter account, that HE the Minister of Municipality and Environment Mohamed bin Abdullah al-Rumaihi was monitoring the progress of water removal from the operations room.
