The Qatar Central Bank sold QR1.5bn ($412mn) of government bonds this week in its third domestic bond sale this year, the central bank said yesterday.
It sold QR500mn of three-year bonds at 2.25%, QR400mn of five-year debt at 2.75%, QR300mn of seven-year debt at 3.25%, and QR300mn of 10-year debt at 3.75%.
The central bank had offered QR1.5bn of three-year, QR1bn of five-year, QR250mn of seven-year and QR250mn of 10-year debt, according to a circular seen by Reuters before the sale.
In last month’s sale, it sold QR1.975bn of bonds.
