Vodafone yesterday launched its unique platform for the small office/home office (Soho) segment, ‘ready business’ – two choices of postpaid plans packed with value including international free minutes for every hour of received calls and other innovative benefits such as a business ring-back tone.
Soho in Qatar make up approximately 70% of all registered businesses in the country, employing less than nine people in a wide range of small companies such as retail shops, pharmacies and limousine services.
To support this huge business segment in Qatar, Vodafone designed ready business tailored to their specific needs with innovative marketing tools that enable them to enhance the running of their businesses.
New to Qatar for Sohos is Vodafone business ring back tone that advertises a business’ products and services even before answering the call. This tool that can be applied on all ready business connections in any language, which can help boost a business’ sales and give their customers relevant information that currently many Soho businesses do not provide.
Also for the first time, ready business customers will get free international minutes based on received calls. For example if a business receives one hour of calls whether locally or internationally, they will get up to 30 minutes to make calls internationally for free to certain destinations.
“We spent a lot of time speaking to Soho company owners to understand exactly what they needed from their telecommunications provider to grow and improve their operations,” Vodafone Qatar business services director Mahmud Awad said.
