Emir exchanges Eid greetings with Arab leaders

HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, in telephone calls yesterday, exchanged greetings, on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, with a number of the Arab countries’ leaders.
HH the Emir exchanged congratulations with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait Emir Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmed al-Jaber al-Sabah, King Hamad bin Isa al-Khalifah of Bahrain, Kuwait Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmed al-Jaber al-Sabah, and Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Armed Forces Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed al-Nahyan.
Congratulations were also exchanged with Sudan President Field Marshal Omar Hassan Ahmad al-Bashir, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Djibouti President Ismail Omar Guelleh.
HH the Deputy Emir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani exchanged cables of Eid greetings with deputy leaders of Arab and Islamic countries.
HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani exchanged cables of Eid greetings with heads of government of Arab and Islamic countries.
*HH the Emir has received a cable of greetings on the occasion of Eid al-Adha from Advisory (Shura) Council Speaker HE Mohamed bin Mubarak al-Khulaifi. Al-Khulaifi prayed the Almighty Allah for the best of health and happiness to HH the Emir and further progress, welfare and prosperity to the people of Qatar under the wise leadership.
In turn, the Emir replied in a cable to the Speaker of the Shura Council: “I have received with great appreciation your precious greetings on the occasion of the advent of the blessed Eid al-Adha, As I reciprocate you and brothers members of the Shura Council best wishes and congratulations, praying the Almighty Allah that this occasion brings all of you good health and happiness and to our dear country further progress and prosperity.”
