The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) recently received a group of 40 healthcare MBA students from Florida International University, US, as part of the co-operation between MoPH and the University. Dr Saleh bin Ali al-Marri, MoPH assistant secretary general for medical affairs, welcomed the visiting delegation stressing the importance of the visit in exchanging related experiences and expertise. The group also visited the main departments of MoPH and were given detailed information on the efforts of MoPH in
developing the health sector of the country. Sheikha Dr al-Anoud bint Mohamed al-Thani, MoPH director of Health Protection and Non-communicable diseases, also
answered the queries of the students and explained the efforts of the country in providing free healthcare for the residents.
