The third Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS) conference will be held on May 22 in Doha under the patronage of HE the Minister of Municipality and Environment Mohamed bin Abdullah al-Rumaihi.
The event, which has the Qatar Primary Materials Company (QPMC) as the strategic partner, will  comprise two workshops.
The first workshop, on the quality and specifications of primary materials, is to be presented by five experts from the QPMC.
The second workshop will be presented by experts from QCS Committee for Asphalt and Concrete Specifications.
“The QCS Conference is very important,” stated Dr Mohamed bin Saif al-Kuwari, assistant undersecretary for Laboratories and Standardisation Affairs, Ministry of Municipality and Environment.
He highlighted the efforts made by the contracting companies, consulting firms, and governmental bodies to fully comply with the QCS.
Engineer Eisa al-Hammadi, CEO of the QPMC, pointed out the contributions of his company to the economic development of Qatar and stability of the construction sector.  
The event, organised by Hawkama Public Relations and Media, will be held at  the Torch Hotel, Aspire Zone.
