Ooredoo and Osool Media have announced a new partnership to enable Ooredoo customers to buy popular electronic gift vouchers via Ooredoo’s nationwide self-service machine (SSM) network.
The agreement will give Ooredoo customers online access to a variety of Internet games, play stores and mobile vouchers via the SSM machines.
The new ‘Noqoody’ option on SSM screens will soon be available for customers to purchase vouchers such as iTunes, Xbox, Skype, Facebook, Steam, Visa Prepaid Cards, PlayStation, eBay, Amazon and Google, as well as entertainment voucher cards for all iOS, Android and Black-berry devices.
The partnership was signed by Ooredoo’s chief sales and services officer Ahmad Abdulaziz al-Neama and Osool Media managing director Nayef Eissa Rashwan.
Al-Neama stated that with over 200 SSMs available across Qatar, Ooredoo’s vision is to create a service where customers can make any transaction they need in their daily lives at one easy to use location.
Customers have to select the service and amount wanted, input the voucher recipient’s phone number, and pay by cash or credit/debit card 24/7 to purchase a voucher.
Customer will then receive a confirmation receipt showing the product selected, denomination and the service number. The voucher code will be sent to the customer through SMS to redeem.
In addition to buying online vouchers via the Ooredoo SSMs, customers can also pay Ooredoo Shahry and Kahramaa bills, purchase Hala prepaid SIM cards, top up Hala accounts, and purchase vouchers for a range of shopping and dining experiences for popular brands in Qatar.
