Qatar may experience another spell of unstable weather from Saturday, the Met department has said.
It is also likely to get cooler in Doha and other parts of the country due to windy conditions, according to the weather report.
The weather charts show that a state of instability is likely to influence the country on Saturday, when southeasterly light to moderate winds may increase the relative humidity and lead to the development of low and medium clouds. There is also a chance of scattered light to moderate rain, which may continue until early on Sunday.
From Saturday evening, fresh to strong northwesterly winds will affect all areas, blowing at speeds ranging from 15-25 knots that may go up to 35 knots at times in some places. The sea level will also rise during this period, measuring 6-9ft and reaching a high of 12ft. Such conditions are likely until January 5.
There will be a significant decrease in the temperature during the windy spell, the weather office has said. In Doha, the maximum temperature will range from 18C to 20C and the minimum 12C to 15C. The temperature is likely to be even lower in open areas and the southern parts of the country.
In view of the forecast, the Met department has advised people to exercise caution and avoid going into the sea during the wind activity to ensure their safety.
