RasGas Company Limited (RasGas) marked Qatar National Day at locations throughout the country, including Doha, Ras Laffan and offshore, and at RasGas’ Korea Liaison Office.
Senior management joined several hundred employees at RasGas’ West Bay headquarters, where a traditional village called a “fereej” had been specially constructed for the occasion.
Guests were invited to enjoy musical performances, watch local master craftsmen at work and sample Qatari breakfast treats. At the company’s Ras Laffan, offshore and Korean locations, employees were invited to cake-cutting ceremonies in honour of the country’s special day.
Hamad Mubarak al-Muhannadi, RasGas CEO, said: “The festivities are a true celebration of Qatar’s culture and heritage. This is a day of great pride for all of us and we are delighted to celebrate with the RasGas family who have been part of our success story and have contributed towards realising our national vision.
“We extend our best wishes and prayers to our country’s visionary leaders and pledge to continue our efforts to achieve excellence and prosperity for our beloved nation and its people.”
