Strong winds, low visibility caused by dust and a cold night are expected in the country today, the Qatar Met department has said.
The wind speed may go up to 45kt in some inshore areas during the day. In offshore areas, which are also likely to experience high seas, the wind speed may reach 38kt.
Visibility, meanwhile, may drop to 2km or less in some places at times.
Slight to blowing dust, especially in the open areas, and partly cloudy conditions are expected in inshore areas. There is also a chance of light rain in the early hours in some places, while it will be cold by night, according to the forecast.
The sea level may rise to 15ft in offshore areas, which are also likely to experience partly cloudy and slightly dusty conditions.
The minimum and maximum temperatures in the country are expected to be 15C and 22C, respectively, with the forecast for Doha being 18C and 22C. Abu Samra is likely to be the coolest at 15C and 19C.
