Cinema halls, video shops to put age ratings

The Ministry of Economy and Commerce (MEC) has issued three circulars regarding the age ratings that should be binding on all Cinema halls, and shops selling video and computer games and movies.According to circulars, cinemas, DVD shops and computer games sellers shall not sell their tickets or items without an age rating. Besides, instructive posters have been given to such outlets to raise public awareness on the issue. The move is meant to enhance the values of the society and protect the youngsters against any adverse consequences.
