HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani meeting the GCC ministers of civil service and administrative development in Doha yesterday.

Doha hosted yesterday the 14th meeting of GCC ministers of civil service and administrative development.  
Qatar’s Minister for Administrative Development HE Dr Issa Saad al-Jafali al-Nuaimi said that civil service ministers have a bigger responsibility currently in light of the developments in the region.
As a result, he called for stronger co-operation between GCC members to help improve the lives of their citizens.  
In that regard, the Minister praised the number of unified laws issued by member-countries, saying that it helps bring the goal of GCC citizenship closer. He also expressed Qatar’s hope that the meeting would help GCC member countries continue their work towards that goal.  
The minister expressed his confidence that the meeting will help bolster co-operation between GCC countries in light of the challenges facing the region.
