Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index gained 224.06 points (+1.98%) to 11,563.56 to continue its rise on Monday.
The daily turnover increased to QR 981,56mn with a volume of 25,735,651 shares from 7,039 deals compared to QR 391,79mn with a volume of 9,700,625 shares from 6,924 deals on Sunday.
The market capitalisation increased to QR 608,076bn from QR 600,126bn registered on Sunday.
Indices of all five sectors ended in green and two sectors ended in red.
Banks and financial companies gained +0.68% to 3,083.07 points. Industrials index added +1.37 to 3,567.23 points, while Consumer Goods and Services index lost -0.43% to 6,855.8 points today.
QSE Total Return index increased to +1.98% to 17,973.9 points, QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index rose +1.32% to 4,422.32 points and QSE All Share Index was up +1.45% to 3,072.76 points.
Of the 43 companies listed on QSE, investors exchanged shares of 43. From these 15 gained and 22 declined. Six companies were unchanged.Last updated:
