Qatar Petroleum (QP) has presented a cheque to the Traffic Department in support of its recently held 30th GCC Annual Traffic Week.
QP was the gold sponsor of the event under the directive of HE Dr Mohamed bin Saleh al-Sada, Minister of Energy & Industry and chairman & managing director of QP.
The cheque was presented by Abdulrahman Abdulla al-Obaidly, Public Relations and Communications manager at QP, to Brig Mohamed Saad al-Kharji, Traffic Department director.
Major Mohamed Radi al-Hajri, Lieutenant Riyadh Ahmed Mohamed, Hassan al-Ajmi, head of Protocol, and Mohamed al-Rashid, head of Media, were also present at the cheque handover ceremony.
“QP is proud to support the activities of the GCC Traffic Week, to achieve its objective of promoting traffic awareness and protecting lives,” said al-Obaidly.
Brig al-Kharji appreciated QP for its sponsorship and continued support for such national events.
