The JFK riddle
Dear Sir,
Almost 50 years ago president John F Kennedy was murdered in a conspiracy that continues to haunt America. The latest twist comes from an American fraudster Billie Sol Estes, who claims that Lyndon Johnson, then vice president, was the architect of the plot against Kennedy.
Kennedy was far from perfect in his personal life, or in some of the decisions he made as president. However, unlike most presidents, he had some good ideas, and he had the courage to enact them.
Since November 22, 1963, there have been over 2,000 books, dozens of television programmes and countless films filled with theory, conjecture and myth as to why JFK was gunned down in broad daylight on a downtown street.
Until now, no one has been able to prove anything other than the fact that the FBI and the CIA did little to help the Warren Commission, a select group of bureaucrats with an agenda of lies.
Professional assassins do not take notes or leave documents behind. The real proof is in the evidence gathered after the crime. The world will never know who the persons were that gave the “official” orders to kill JFK, for those persons are either already dead, close to the death, silent in fear of death, or they chose to remain silent until death.
One of the primary reasons JFK was assassinated had to do with the fact he dared to interfere in the framework of power.

Plot against Pakistan
Dear Sir,
Pakistan is still in shock and grief after the killing of 14 women students of a university in Quetta last Saturday. An hour after the university blast, another explosion hit the hospital, where the dead and injured were shifted. The attacks came hours after a group of militants attacked Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s residency in the Ziarat area of Balochistan.
The problem is not confined to the Balochistan province. The security situation in Karachi is also going from bad to worse. After the new government’s formation, the city witnessed its third labour strike in just 15 days. Also, 17 more people lost their lives in Karachi the same day of the Quetta carnage. The grim security situation in different parts of the country highlights how tough is the challenge facing the new government.
The killing of women and destruction of Jinnah’s last residence are heinous acts and don’t seem to benefit any cause or motives. Several foreign agencies seem to be behind the Balochistan insurgency and efforts to destabilise the country. The attacks in Quetta are part of a conspiracy against the nation. Terrorists are getting training, weapons and finance from outside the country to carry out their agenda. Only a united Pakistan and more active role of security forces can prevent incidents like these.
