It is not just a testament to our status as a caring employer, but also an indication of the level of dedication and loyalty of our staff.”Held at the Sheraton Doha, the annual QP Continuous Service Award (CSA) ceremony was attended by several QP directors and managers and the families of the awardees.HE the Minister described the many years spent in service of QP as an affirmation of their contribution to its continued growth. “They are an important force behind the rapid development of Qatar’s oil and gas industry, which is honoured by the patronage and guidance of HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani,” he said.HE Dr al-Sada valued the commitment and contributions of the QP staff and expressed pride at being part of the QP family. “This is why,” he said, “we work hard to make it our home by providing all forms of support to you and to your well-being, including health, education and safety.” The QP staff who were honoured at the event included 137 employees who have been working in the company for the past 20 years, 69 who have completed 25 years, 79 who have put in 30 years, 61 who have been part of the corporation for 35 years and 10 who have recorded a remarkable 40 years of service.During the event, HE Dr al-Sada personally congratulated all the awardees and presented each of them with a Certificate of Appreciation and a gift.The CSA ceremony is organised by QP’s public relations and communications department in partnership with its administration directorate.1 A view of the honoured QP employees during the ceremony.
