Labbaik offers ‘luxury’ vehicles for Haj, Umrah

The Labbaik Haj, Umrah and Tourism Services company has added luxury vans to its fleet to give a ‘business class’ feel to passengers planning their pilgrimages. The privately-owned Qatari company held a small event outside their office near the Family Food centre on Al Mirqab Al Jaded Street yesterday to announce the arrival of their new vehicles and special packages.A special competition was also organised in which the winners would be given an expenses paid trip to perform Umrah.Labbaik is known for organising religious trips for Haj and Umrah, tourist tours, facilitating in issuance of airline tickets and hotel reservations. An official of the company said that customers can hire the new ‘cars sprinter (Al Shahbaa)’ for as low as QR8,000 for the entire families. The 11-seater vans are fully equipped with TV panels for each seat, electricity connection for laptops and special ‘airline standard business-class’ comfortable seats for the long journey from Doha to the holy places, Makkah and Madinah.
