Heavy rain lashes Nepal capital

A traffic policeman tries to clear blocked water on a road of the capital Kathmandu during a heavy rain yesterday. Pre-monsoon showers resulted in the temperature dipping to 19 degrees centigrade. The temperature normally hovers above 25 degrees centigrade in May.
