Muslim schoolgirls stand on the edge of a seaport in Colombo yesterday, after travelling from their town of Kalmunai, over 370km (231 miles) east of the capital Colombo. Work on a $500mn new container terminal is nearing completion at Colombo which is a key transhipment hub for Indian cargo.
