The ISAC Cross Country and Track & Field Championships in Dubai was a huge success for Qatar Academy recently. At the 5 km Cross Country event, grade 10 runner Mikayla Le Roy took home the championship title for the girls’ varsity team and grade 12’s Jean-Luc Neefs took the varsity boys title. The varsity girls’ also brought home the third place team trophy for the event. In the two-day track and field championships, the girls’ varsity team came in second overall and the boys’ varsity team finished third on the day. Both teams brought home a trophy and a banner for their efforts.
