Australian national team captain Harry Kewell has joined Al Gharafa on loan until the end of current season, the club revealed yesterday. |
Kewell will replace his compatriot Mark Bresciano who has been ruled out for six to eight weeks with knee ligaments injury and Al Gharafa are already counting on the large experience the ex-Liverpool, Leeds United and Galatasaray can bring to the club.
“Kewell will be a great addition to the club thanks to his experience and outstanding abilities. We wish him success and quick harmony with the players,” the club’s football director Saoud Fatah said.
