Minister of State for External Affairs E Ahamed shakes hands with Doha resident C K Menon at the foundation stone laying ceremony of the proposed SPV Inkel (Instrastructurals Kerala Limited) Green City in Malappuram as Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy and Industries Minister P K Kunhalikutty look on. Menon is a director of Inkel, a Kerala government initiative for developing road and industrial infrastructure in the state. The main attraction of the Green City is the ‘Inkel Edu City’, featuring a host of institutions to be developed in association with the Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation (KSIDC). It will have institutions such as the Institute of Technical Education, the Institute of Engineering & Technology, the International Business School, the School of Science, Commerce, Law and the Media School. Most of the institutions coming up in the Edu City has non-resident Indians from the Gulf as the promoters. The campus will also house an English and Foreign Languages University.
