Green-fingered students have received awards for their schools after growing bumper crops of fruit and vegetables for the Sahtak Awalan’s Project Greenhouse competition launched by Weill Cornell Medicine – Qatar (WCM-Q).

Khayr Qatarna, an initiative by Your Health First – Sahtak Awalan that teaches secondary school students about food security, agriculture and commerce, has been showcased at AgriteQ, the region’s leading agricultural innovations exhibition.

National food security and sustainability has been boosted with tonnes of fruit and vegetables grown in school greenhouses run by the Sahtak Awalan -- Your Health First’s Khayr Qatarna programme.
