The Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) has announced that it has achieved a vital landmark with the completion of the first electricity substation for Qatar Rail Company (Qatar Rail) in Ras Abu Fontas.

The QR1.75bn Ras Abu Fontas A3 (RAF A3), one of the major desalination projects, was formally dedicated by HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani at Wakrah.
