The British government may have given up on holding a third vote on the Brexit deal negotiated with the European Union in the parliament in coming weeks, according to one British lawmaker.

A 52-year-old man was due in court on Saturday accused of the murder of British lawmaker Jo Cox in an attack that has brought campaigning for next week's referendum on European Union membership to a standstill.
