Qatar embassies, QC, hold Iftar projects across the world

Several Qatari embassies abroad supervised the establishment of Ramadan projects and events in cooperation with Qatar Charity (QC), which include collective Iftar tables for fasting people and the distribution of Ramadan food baskets within the framework of the Iftar Project for Fasting People. This project is expected to take place in each of the Qatar embassies in Vietnam, Kosovo, Albania, Ghana, Mauritania, Djibouti, Malaysia, Somalia, Bangladesh, Morocco, Tunisia, Nepal, Kenya, the US, Croatia, Egypt, Iraq, Afghanistan, Argentina, Cambodia, Indonesia, India, Ecuador, South Korea, Japan, Malta, Russia, Venezuela, Canada, Georgia, and Benin. So far, the Qatar embassies in Jordan, Gambia, Croatia, Rwanda, Lebanon, and Azerbaijan have supervised these projects and events. The Qatar embassy in Croatia held an iftar at the Islamic Centre in the capital, Zagreb, in cooperation with QC. Ambassador Asma bint Naji al-Ameri was present. The embassy also held an iftar for those who are fasting at the Islamic Centre in the city of Ribka in the presence of the Mufti of Croatia. Dr. Azizhasanovic and more than 150 fasting people. In Gambia, Qatar's ambassador Mohammed bin Ali al-Kuwari, participated in a ceremony held by QC to distribute school bags in Arab and Islamic schools in Gambia. In Jordan, the Qatar embassy, in cooperation with QC, distributed 874 food baskets, with support from the Qatar Fund for Development. Distributions were carried out in Mafraq, Zarqa, Jerash and Amman, and the number of beneficiaries was estimated at more than 3,500 people. In Azerbaijan, the Qatar embassy supervised the provision of 8,400 iftar meals in two mosques in the capital, Baku.
