Draw Assistant Aaron Judge pulled Qatar’s name from the bowl as they were placed into Group B alongside Canada and Switzerland during the FIFA World Cup 2026 draw at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. The group’s fourth team will be confirmed later from Pot 4. After hosting the 2022 edition, Qatar have now qualified for the World Cup on merit for the first time in their history.
