A masked gang armed with a shotgun and crowbars smashed their way into a house in east London yestrday during a terrifying burglary.
Three people in their 20s and early 30s were at home  when the gang drove up to the house in Wallenger Avenue, Romford – two of them arriving in a black convertible Porsche – and forced their way inside.
The shocking CCTV  footage was released today by detectives hunting the four men.
In the clip, one of them jumps out of the sports car  and rushes over to a CCTV camera with a crowbar before smashing it to pieces.
The camera filmed an expensive-looking watch on his wrist before cutting out.
A second camera recorded one of his accomplices pulling a shotgun from the front of the Porsche, before the pair are joined by two more men who are believed to have arrived in a black Mercedes.
The gang then batter the front door  down by kicking it and hitting it with their crowbars.
Police said the three people in the house suffered minor injuries from the breaking glass.
The suspects stole two watches and made off in the Porsche and a black Mercedes, police said.

Officers today released a CCTV  image of a woman wanted in connection with the incident in Wood Green.
It happened after staff approached a woman as the child she was with was causing “significant disruption” in the shop.
She was later seen by staff and a member of the public to “repeatedly kick the child to his body “ during the incident at around 2.30pm on February 28, police said.
Detective sergeant Clive Myers said: “All efforts to trace this woman have been unsuccessful which is why officers are now releasing an image  in the hope someone will recognise her and get in touch.
“This was clearly a distressing incident and we need to ensure the welfare of the young boy.”
Police said the suspect is described as black, in her mid-30s, of large build, wearing a blue sports jacket with white stripes along the arms and pushing a buggy.
Police are hunting for a thug who punched a commuter repeatedly in the face on the Tube as he sat using his mobile phone.
The attacker began hitting his 42-year-old victim as the pair travelled between South Woodford and Woodford on an eastbound Central Line train, police said.
But when the victim tried to alert Tube staff, the man ran away. Police were called to the scene but could not trace him.
Fortunately the victim only suffered cuts and bruises in the assault on July 14 and did not need hospital treatment.
Detectives investigating the “nasty” attack today released photograph of a man they want to question.
Detective Constable Michael Hatcher said: “This was a nasty assault which left the victim with a number of injuries to his head and face.
“We treat all violent crime on the Underground with the utmost seriousness and are doing all we can to catch the person responsible.”
