Qatar won a number of awards at the 22nd session of the Arab Radio and TV Festival, held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from November 9-12.
The 22nd edition of the festival started on November 9 with the participation of representatives from the Qatar Media Corporation, Arab bodies concerned with media in Arab League member states, relevant regional and international organisations, and a selection of personalities in the field of media, culture and arts.
Qatar Media Corporation was represented at the Arab Radio and TV Festival by an official delegation headed by the Director of Qatar Radio Mohamed Nasser al-Mohannadi.
The festival aims to enrich dialogue on the most successful visions for the development of radio and television production, pushing Arab media to improve in technology, qualification and training, as well as to keep pace with the rapid technological developments.
